SmugMug > keywords > flowers > Digital Blue. Switch cameras on the tripod from the F80 (film SLR) to the D80 (digital SLR). I think the blue came out more intense, but less natural on the digital. For some reason between the last film shot and this one the fountains came on for like one minute until someone realised and it had stirred up the still water.

SmugMug > keywords > flowers > Sakura at Magic Hour. There are two magic hours (actually 4 different 30 minute periods) for photography in the day one is the "Golden light" which is the 30 minutes after sunrise and the 30 minutes before sunset. The other is the before glow 30 minutes before sunrise and the other is the after glow 30 minutes after sunset. The 30 minutes after sunset is my personal favourite time for capturing things that are artificially lit like these Sakura. Note Film Shot: Nikon F80 + Nikkor AF 50 f/1.8 + Fujicolor PRO400
